As if the past seven months haven’t been difficult enough with the pandemic, social unrest, high unemployment and other concerns, fraudsters and cyber criminals were and are hard at work attempting to steal your identify, your credit card information, your bank accounts, your unemployment checks, your stimulus checks and more.  Unfortunately, in most cases when people fall for the crimes, they tend to be solely liable for financial costs associated with the fraud. According to experts, the number of people affected by fraud is somewhere around 12% of American adults (approximately 32 million people). Older persons and college students tend to be the primary targets.
