Today is Random Acts of Kindness Day, an annual celebration started by the Random Acts of Kindness Foundation and a day to affirm how much better the world is with kindness! There is no act of kindness that is too small. Each and every one is like a breath of fresh air to everybody it touches – from the receiver, to the giver, and even to those who simply witness it. Kindness is truly magical!
This year, we were even more inspired to be kind by the amazing artwork of Signal Hill Elementary students in Voorhees, NJ! As part of a national kindness challenge, the students were asked to create a Kindness Matters poster, and WOW! The posters they made are incredible! Scroll down to view their moving artwork!
At Envision2bWell, we believe profoundly in the power of kindness to change lives. That is why we made it one of our 10 Pillars of 360° Well-Being™. We encourage you to participate in the celebration and perform some random acts of kindness today! Here are a few ideas to get you started:
1.) Buy coffee for the person behind you in the drive-thru.
2.) Write a handwritten letter to a friend letting them know how much they mean to you.
3.) Help an elderly person with their yard work or snow removal.
4.) Praise a local business online.
5.) Write a positive comment on a website or blog.
6.) Send flowers to a local nursing home.
7.) Leave a generous tip for your food delivery driver.
8.) Bake a freezable meal for a friend and leave it on their doorstep.
9.) Learn something new about a co-worker.
10.) Leave a compliment sticky note for a family member or loved one.
