In a recent article on HRMorning.com titled, "Key Strategies to Survive the Great Resignation, Retain Employees", author Becky Seefeldt writes, "The Great Resignation is still going strong – and HR professionals feel the tremendous impact."
This means that the Great Resignation has been negatively impacting companies and organizations throughout the U.S. for over a year now. Considering the fact that replacing an individual employee can range from one-half to two times the employee's salary, not to mention the investment in time and resources, and it's no wonder business leaders and HR professionals alike are scrambling to increase employee retention.
In the HRMorning.com article, Seefeldt advises employers to make sure that their benefits and company culture appeal to what she calls 'key levers of employee well-being":
