Hand Washing Can be a Spiritual Practice

Frederic and Mary Anne Brussat writes that one might think that a pandemic such as the COVID-19 is not the time to take time to support your spiritual practices, especially around washing of hands.  However, research from CDC consistently points to the reduction of possibility to get infected if one practices social distancing, mask wearing and hand washing.    However, in her poem "Pandemic,"  Lynn Ungar, a minister with the Unitarian Universalists' online Church of the Larger Fellowship, suggests we reframe this moment:
