How Can We Help Our Beaches? Even as the summer is waning, we need to continually recognize the importance of clean beaches, and leaving them whole. The Clean Beaches Coalition in 2003 envisioned a seven-day event founded on four themes and seven principles. If you are wondering what you can do to help keep our beaches clean and safe for you and humanity, it t could be as simple as going to the beach and following these seven principles:
